Three top U.S. officials visited U.S. troops Thursday to express appreciation for their service and sacrifice ahead of the upcoming holidays. U.S. President Donald Trump visited wounded soldiers at Walter Reed hospital just outside Washington, while Vice President Mike Pence traveled to Kabul to greet U.S. soldiers serving in Afghanistan.
